I began my career in 1983 and enjoyed roles both as a Financial Advisor and Branch Manager with a large insurance based firm until 1994 when I moved the independent channel of the industry. I am able to combine best of breed products and services in all areas of financial planning with an extensive knowledge and background to deliver not only a solution to your various financial needs, but the best solution.

I earned my Economics degree from McMaster University, and in 1999 achieved the designation  “Chartered Life Underwriter” after an extensive multi-year program covering all areas of insurance, estate and tax planning. I also regularly attend industry conferences and courses to ensure my knowledge remains current in all areas of my practice.

One thing I learned long ago is that I can’t be good at or know everything there is to know about financial planning. But through my knowledge gleaned over a 25 year plus career you can count on the fact that any financial priorities you bring to me will receive the highest level of knowledge and attention to detail.

I also “take care of” my community. Since moving to North Bay in 1993 I have participated extensively in community fundraising for our wonderful ski facility and our new state of the art hospital. I am proud to have played a role in bringing these key pieces of community infrastructure to reality. Most recently I was chair of the 2010 Kiwanis & Friends golf tournament in support of funding our new MRI machine.
